That generation is passing on and what they did long ago in places far away is remembered in a painting that shows the actual aircraft that they flew. Using a variety of resource material, I am able to show the real colors, tail numbers, squadron codes and nose art. Usually I am given a black and white photo of a pilot standing by the nose of his aircraft and his unit. | N. COLORADO NEWS/BULLETINS/INFO. Honor Flight Northern Colorado - Four flights have now taken place carrying 590 local veterans of World War II to Washington D.C. It has been a very special experience to watch and help out with. It is something worthwhile to come out and see these veterans off and/or welcome them back.
